So Much to Say...

Me, Mom and Dad

Two Months - 23 inches; 10lbs 9oz

I officially hit the two month mark last week and things are getting more and more exciting! Mom and dad make me smile all the time, especially during my favorite time of day, 6am. I really enjoy playing on my activity mat and ringing the bells on the feet of my giraffe. In the last couple of days I have enjoyed sitting in my yellow Bumbo Chair that my wonderful friend Sadie let me borrow. She is the greatest!

Grandpa Scott and Grandma Mindy Come to Town!

A couple of weeks ago my Grandpa Scott and Grandma Mindy came to visit me for the weekend. They took turns holding me and giving me hugs and at one point I think I even saw them arm wrestle over who got to hold me next! Grandma Mindy won! They even took me to my first ever brunch and while the waffle bar did look good, I opted for the milk bar.

Grandma Cassandra's Vist

My Grandma Cassandra gave me the best Valentine's Day gift by coming to visit me! When she wasn't giving me hugs, which was most of the time, she cooked up some great meals for mom and dad. It was a great visit and I'm looking forward to seeing her again in May for her birthday!

One Month!

Well, my first month went great! I had my one month doctor appointment on Tuesday and weighed in at 8 lbs 10 oz, putting me in the 35th percentile; my head is 14.5 inches and perfectly round, putting me in the 50th percentile; and I measured 22 inches long, putting me in the 80th percentile. WOO HOO!! My favorite activities involve eating, sleeping, and pooping. I also like staring at lights, the color red, mom and dad, and my puppies. I find all of these very interesting. I learned how to lift my head off my play mat about 45 degrees when I'm on my tummy and I think I learned how to smile at mom and dad when they play with me, but it could also be gas... All and all, a successful first month!!
